Dad got admitted to hospital on Saturday afternoon due to piles. Hahah, in another words, Colorectal. He wanted to admit into SGH and so we just follow what he want. When reach the A&E, and its A&E, there are SO MANY PEOPLE THERE. So many ok, not just 10 but around 40 to 50 people. Maybe that day is a Saturday and so there are alot of people. Reach there, help to admit him and waited for 2 hours before he got a bed. I personally dont recommend SGH. Maybe they have some expertise area but then, if it is for normal surgery, maybe not there. My dad's case, since Saturday until today, they never really do much and suddenly, today, the doctor came and told my dad that he can discharge from hospital. Alot of questions I want to ask yet the doctor did not come and talk to me. For 3 days, I never had the chance to talk to the doctors. Yeah, I am here to share a funny yet good news with you guys. I think by now some of you might know what kind of job I am working as and what is my job scope. Yeah, that day, there was this Lian He Zao Bao reporter and Channel News Asia crew. They are there to actually film and report about the HFMD and me and my colleague are there to teach the young kids on hygiene matters and how to prevent getting HFMD. So while my colleague was doing the explanation to the kids and parents, I am there to click the presentation slides and to look after our game which is the "Snake and Ladder". Nature is really a super powerful and unexplainable force. First is the Cyclone in Myanmar, then Earthquake in Sichuan, China. Never feel so heartache before. All the recent news are about the earthquake in China. Reading all these news make me sad because its true that people are dying and especially kids, children, toddler. My first week in the new position just ended and seriously, I had so much fun. People there are nice but of course, office politics is always there. I will just listen and say "huh, oh, I see" to just bring it over and try not to comment about anything. Yesterday was the roadshow that was held in Aljunied GRC. That George Yeo came and it was like a big hoo haa. Cameras and flash light were just flashing infront of me. He visited our booth and my manager explain to him what we do and so on.
